About this listing

Unique farm holiday experience with hands-on animal feeding. Horses, ducks, chickens and more. This amazing property is ideally suited for small family groups or for a quiet rural retreat for a couple.

4pm every afternoon at Anne’s Coastal Chalet is animal feeding time! Meet the two friendly and stunning Haflinger horses, collect eggs from the chickens, talk a morning walk to the lagoon, or sit back and enjoy the view whilst the family enjoy the outdoor fire pit, trampoline, swings and children’s games. Stoke the wood log fire on a winter’s night, or BBQ whilst stargazing the incredible night sky without the city lights. Ceiling fans throughout for the warm summer days, and relax without the pesky mozzies – the entire outdoor deck and dining area is completely screened, so you can enjoy the incredible view uninterrupted.

Valla is nestled just 20 minutes south of Coffs Harbour, almost a perfect meeting point between Brisbane and Sydney, and just an easy 4 minute drive off the Pacific Highway. The closest beach by car is to North Valla Beach about 3 minute drive. You can also walk to the beach by crossing the shallow lagoon as pictured, however not recommended to walk with small children this way.

Sleeping up to 6 guests comfortably, Anne’s Coastal Chalet is comprised of three separate sleeping areas:
1 x Four-poster Queen Bed, this is combined with the oversized lounge room with vaulted ceilings, fan and TV with HDMI & DVD
1 x Upstairs loft with Queen Bed
2 x Single beds, able to be opened up onto the large, fully screened undercover deck
1 x Large bathroom complete with spa bath, heated towel racks, and a separate toilet.

Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, and oven with gas cooktop. Laundry is located outside and undercover, equipped with washing machine, dryer and ironing board for your convenience. This truly is the ultimate retreat, to reset and get back to nature. Beware – our guests never want to leave! This unique slice of paradise is extremely rare – enjoy 5 acres of peaceful country surroundings with nature in abundance, all this just a short walk to the beach and the glorious coastline that is Valla Beach.

Do you love Anne’s Chalet? Do you have more guests? Check out Anne’s Coastal Farmhouse next door sleeping an extra 8 guest, so book together to sleep a total of 14 guests. No Pets, no parties, and no smoking allowed. This is a quiet space, so kindly respect our neighbours and nature. Please note that there are other accommodation facilities on the property, however Anne’s Chalet is a stand-alone building connected to Anne's Coastal Farmhouse by an undercover laundry and walkway. Linen and bath towels are provided, feel free to bring your own beach towels. Please read our full terms and conditions prior to booking.

Experience the very best of coastal and rural living!

Blissful retreat for all the family

Tara H - 4th January 2023

I recently stayed at Anne’s wonderful farm with my 2 children and mother . The setting is so tranquil and peaceful, yet also super convenient to explore the local area with various beaches and swimming spots to beautiful country towns like bellingen and Urunga . We stayed in the chalet and loved the open plan design , my particular favourite sitting in the fully screened lounge area overlooking the gardens . My children loved connecting with the horses on a daily basis and collecting the fresh farm eggs . Ann the owner who lives on site is the perfect host - giving my children lots of her time . They didn’t want to leave ! We will be back . Xx

Awesome

Guest - 2nd January 2023

We stayed for 4 nights and loved it. From the moment we arrived we were very happy and stayed that way. The open plan of the chalet gave a very pleasant experience and although the weather was warm outside, inside was quite bearable. From the timber finish and high ceilings to the lovely kitchen and large veranda area ( if you can call it that. It took up nearly half the chalet ), the place was very comfortable, airy and relaxing. With a view of a well kept paddock complete with horses ducks and a dam from within practically every part of the chalet giving the feeling of being outside from within. Would recommend to anyone.

Serene and beautiful

Guest - 16th January 2022

This was a great stay, the property is well maintained, the chalet is well designed and Anne is a very accommodating host. The location is also very conveniently located close to other popular destinations including Valla beach, Dorrigo rainforest reserve and Coffs Harbour.

Very relaxing setting.

Jim S - 6th December 2021

Nice spacious area to move around. Plenty of enclosed deck area for kids to play big plus for our 20 month old. Kookaburras every morning at 5:45 and loved hearing the black cockatoos most days. Lots of places to sit around house was good. Only realy needed to bring our bags.lively farm stay we enjoyed our stay very much. Only downside thing if staying through summer there is no air con and fans didnt realy help much on humid sticky nights. Be prepared to clock up alot of ks as coffs was where all the adventuring stuff we did was at but the sense of peace n quiet and safety out of town is why we stayed here. Nambucca heads was good for woolies things with pizza hut n takeaways n rsl club meal was great and only 10 m8ns down the road.Ann was lovely to talk with very helpful and told us of the local spots to go to for kids stuff.
